The one-piece rotomolded housing seals against hot engine bay air better than most two-piece designs, and the Pro 5 R oiled cotton filter flows significantly more than a dry filter. a Fe backs their claims with actual dyno sheets showing +18 HP and +18 TQ on a 6.4 L. It's also one of the quieter performance intakes — you'll hear a deeper induction sound without drone.
